7-day free trial on Pro & Family
- Cancel in Google Play before the 7-day trial ends and you pay nothing. Trial eligibility is determined by Google Play.
- Pro and Family are auto-renewing subscriptions billed to your Google Play account. They renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Paid features stay active until the end of the current period.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. Full details are in our Terms of Service.

FAQ
Questions, answered plainly
How does the 7-day free trial work?
Pro and Family include a 7-day free trial for eligible Google Play accounts. You start it in the app and Google Play handles the subscription. You won't be charged during the trial.
If you cancel in Google Play before the trial ends, you pay nothing. If you don't cancel, the subscription starts automatically at the end of the trial at the price shown to you in the app.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Google Play. Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose ExpiryVault and tap Cancel subscription.
You keep your paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription on its own.
What happens to my documents if I downgrade to Free?
Your documents stay in your vault — nothing is deleted when a subscription ends. You can still view them and keep getting push reminders.
Pro-only features such as AI scanning, email reminders, sharing, extra vaults and insights stop working. If you have more documents than the Free plan allows, you won't be able to add new ones until you upgrade again or remove some.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, the app can be locked with biometrics, and nothing is shared unless you share it. We don't sell your data, and documents processed by our AI features are never used to train AI models.

Does ExpiryVault work offline?
Yes. Documents and subscriptions you've already saved are available without a connection, and reminders you've set still arrive. Features that need the internet — such as AI scanning, email reminders, sharing and syncing changes — work again once you're back online.
Can people on my Family plan see my documents?
No — not unless you choose to put them in the shared family vault. A Family plan shares the subscription, not anyone's personal documents. Each member keeps their own private vault.
Only documents added to the shared family vault or the household dashboard are visible to other members.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and all of your stored documents from inside the app. Step-by-step instructions, including how to request deletion without the app, are on the account deletion page.
